The Setting
It's the year 2087. Twenty years after the end of the first series of Spy High by A J Butcher. Through restraints in human rights and the epidemic of law enforcement spreading out over the USA and in fact the world the Deveraux School was forced to close. They were unable to take special students out of their highschools for their last two years of education without raising suspicions. Teaching the students from the start of highschool was useless as their talents would not have revealed themselves by this point and it cost too much money. Instead a University was started. The Deveraux University, known as the Academy to those with the knowledge of what it truly is, does the same job as the school had, only training it's students over three years, not two. It has been churning out the world's finest members of political espionage since it began five years ago.The PlotDeveraux University hand picks the finest 24 teenagers in the country and trains them for three years. Each year a new group of 24 join. This elite school is for only the best. For three years they go on extensive training courses and missions, sometimes being called out for emergency situations.
Within the last six months the USA have discovered a large quantity of metillium beneath it's soil- a fuel longer lasting and more effective than the petrolium that ran out some twenty years ago. Now many countries are interested in the USA. Some wish to stop the chemical- a new element in science- from ever being used as it can be incredibly dangerous when applied to certain heats. Others, who realise the potential- both economically and financially- are after the chemical for their own means. Either way, the US and A need to be careful with their new discovery and need the best of the best to liaison with and protect against other countries. That's where Deveraux University comes in.
This is a literate site for literate roleplayers. Be sure that you can keep up before you join. That means active membership and decent length posts with accurate spelling and grammar. No-one's perfect so typoes are over-looked within reason. There are links to my other sites on this one.
